Response:
1)Have you checked your fuel pressure regulator?
2)vapor lock
3)Check Back pressure on catalytic converter
4) check for Engine codes
Freeautomechanic.com tip : Once the engine has died, check to see what is missing... spark or fuel or both, then concentrate on that circuit to determine the problem. "simplify"

How do i get to the spark plugs on my 1996 Buick Century 3.1 Engine
Response:
The easy way is to start the car and SLOWLY move. Have a second person use a heavy duty muffler clamp u bolt through where the dog bone connects. Then shut off the engine the backside is raised so you can axcess the 3 spark plugs.
Response:
There is a special tool you can borrow for free from autozone that connect where the dog bone is and you put car in neutral ans just tighten up the center bolt pulling the engine forward in a safe manner.

where is the camshaft position sensor located on my gm engine? It's a 1997 3100 engine code P0341
where is the camshaft position sensor located on my gm engine? It's a 1997 3100 engine (6 cylinder) I ran a diagnostics and it came out code P0341 which is the camshaft position sensor. I was thinking of replacing the sensor and see if the problem goes away. The problem is that the engine looses power at higher RPMs. This code fault is the only one in the computer. I do not know the physical location of this sensor to replace it. Can you describe exactly where it is on my engine?
Answer:
It should be located right below the back of the power steering pump on the lower intake manifold.

2000 jeep grand cherokee sounds like the engine is knocking
My 2000 jeep grand cherokee sounds like the engine is knocking, there is no oil presure, and it will not stay running. What do I do?
Answer:
If you have this many problems with this engine I would suggest getting a used engine with low miles and a warranty you can get one for less than a 1,000 and installed for around 500-600 dollars. Once they begin knocking I don't repair them because you don't know about contamination in the engine from metal. And it's very costly to have an engine rebuilt. Especially with no oil pressure it's probably spun a bearing in the lower end of the engine.

2004 Suzuki Forenza and recently I have heard a knocking sound
QUESTION:
I have a 2004 Suzuki Forenza and recently I have heard a knocking sound that increases as i accelerate, do I have a rod knock or could it hopefully be something else?
ANSWER:
What you have described is a classic description of a rod knocking. The engine is done. Its time to replace or rebuild it. If you choose to have it replaced, I recommend Jasper Engines as they come with a 3 yr/100,000 mile parts and LABOR nationwide warranty. This means if there is a problem you pay nothing. If you have a junk yard engine out in and there is a problem, you will have to pay the labor again.
