What GM crank and rods can you use to make a stroker out of a 350 or a 327, use to know all the tricks but have been out of racing tooooooooooooo long or just getting old timers

ANSWER:

350 block or Large Journal 327 Block. You can install a 400 crank and rods with 400 pistons and this gives you a 373 Stroker, or bore it .30 and you get a 383 or bore it .60 and you get a 388 Stroker. If you use a large journal 327 block you will need to grind a small bit off the bottom of the cylinder so the crank does not catch. Many of the old school racers used the 327 large journal block because the cylinder walls are thicker making it stronger. If you have it internally balanced you can use the 350 balancer and flywheel (no one will know unless they take the bottom apart.
