THE SCANNER SAYS IT IS A CODE 67
Question:
I HAVE A 1990 F150 6 CYC. AND THE CODE COMING UP IN THE SCANNER SAYS IT IS A CODE 67 CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO BUY TO GET MY TRUCK BACK ON THE ROAD.
Already Tried:
MAP SENSOR THROTLE SENSOR AIR FLOW VALVE NEW DISTRBUTAOR PLUGS PLUG WIRES NEW COMPUTER NEW VACUM LINES
Answer:
CODE67 :Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch circuit open - A/C on during Self-Test.
Ford Codes
Looks like you need to replace the neutral safety switch or repair the wiring going to it. Possibly the Starter Relay according to the wiring diagram.
