Olive oil instead of Armour All?

Olive oil instead of Armor All?? Most cleaning products are filled with all sorts of crazy chemicals, often touted as the “only way” to clean something. But if you do a little research, a lot of awesome alternatives can come out of the woodwork. One of my favorites is this awesome cleaning secret from our friend. He starts smearing one secret substance all over his leather dashboard – when he’s done, it looks brand new! The secret is simple: olive oil. You probably already have it in your cabinet, so grab some paper towels and the olive oil and start cleaning! Most car dashboards are made of leather or a synthetic alternative – either way, extra-virgin olive oil has all the right properties to moisten, clean and shine away any imperfections leaving your car dash looking mint. So throw away those chemical cleaning solutions and stop breathing in all those toxic fumes – simply head to the kitchen and grab some olive oil next time

  1. Wouldn't the oil on the dashboard go rancid and start to smell, especially in the summer heat?

  3. Wow, I've definitely never thought of that. I didn't realize that olive oil was so versatile, or that regular cleaning solutions were so simple. I'll definitely have to try this sometime in the future; I hate the smell of those chemical cleaners. http://www.accuratetrans.ca

  9. Yes I use olive oil on my interior as well as my exterior. As a matter of fact, I have some black plastic parts on the exterior which have faded over time and armor all couldn't restore however, olive oil did the trick and those parts look brand brand new!
