how do you replace the cabin airfilter

how do you replace the cabin air filter on an 2006 Mazda tribute v6 4x4? Year: 2006 Make: Mazda Model: tribute Engine: v6 4x4 Answer: The cabin air filter is located under the hood, on the right side. Just remove the access panel to get to the filter.

  1. Step 1 - Remove the main access cover, undo the cover fasteners to remove cover and side cover if needed.
    Step 2 - Locate and undo retainer clip to remove air cabin filter, compare the filter size to the replacement filter and reassemble. Note: clean air cabin filter housing to help keep the vehicle inlet air clean.

    Common Problems:

    * Air cabin filter becomes plugged not allowing air flow into the vehicle cabin.
    * Air cabin filter becomes moist creating mildew and odors.
