Just had the drivers seat belt replaced due to an airbag light on dash

Question: I have a 2001 Volkswagen passat 1.8 turbo. Just had the drivers seat belt replaced due to an airbag light on dash, NOW the drivers door will unlock when using key button? to unlock the other doors i have to hit the interior door unlock. Trunk also does not lock. Answer: The central comfort module has lost its coding which matches it to the particular vehicle it is installed in. This happens when the battery is unhooked. You will have to take it to the dealer to have the proper code reprogrammed.
