there is a chirping noise, not sure where its coming from,

I need some help if poss please. whenever I move off slowly when I turn left or right there is a chirping noise, not sure where its coming from, it only makes the noise when the car first sets off and with the steering wheel turning either way. iv had rear brake shoes replaced and front pads, the noise was doing this before I had brakes changed. rod ends replaced. my mechanic has no idea whats making the noise. its driving me mad. 4 new tyres last week and its still making the noise. can anyone shed any light onto what this noise could be and how to rectify it. thankyou in advance

  1. Check your Hub bearings and CV Joints. Jack up the vehicle and spin each wheel and check for the sound. Next put the car on jack stands, chock the rear wheels and place the car in drive, while the wheels are spinning turn the steering wheel to the left and right while listening to the Axle Shafts

  2. It seems like that it would be important to found were that sound is coming from. It may be some part of the car that is loose and so it might just be bumping into something else. My uncle says that sometimes cars just make noise and it isn't really anything to worry about. http://www.automotive-specialties.com/Mechanic-Facility/

  3. You might have a rusted pivot or something. That part that holds the wheels together. I would go get that checked at your shop and see if there something you can do about it. Then again, if your mechanic isn't even sure what the problem is maybe I'm wrong. Good luck!

  4. I have this exact noise coming from my car right now! It's really crazy that you've replaced so many things and it's still making the noise. I'm surprised that even your mechanic wasn't able to tell where the noise is coming from. It must be a really strange problem that isn't very common. http://petesservice.com/services/
