96 Astro van stalled and won't start. Fuel pump working throttle body injectors
spraying starter turning and distribution giving spark. It cranks ans cranks and
cranks but will not catch and run
It could be the timing belt or chain. Also check your fuel pressure, it should be above 55psi. Could also be from wet wiring, lots of rain lately. Check the wire bundle behind the battery. If wet try using your hair dryer to dry things out.
Also recently changed plugs and wires. Had to be the original acdelco plugs cost me a nice chunk to have the threads pulled out after the plugs crumbled in the socket. The engine would still bounce even after I sea foamed it and I ran Lucas deep clean two weeks later. 32 hrs after the Lucas was added the engine stalled out the girlfriend said the gas peddle felt funny and now I can't get it started. It is spraying gas from throttle body injectors. I'm thinking timing chain but Idk

ReplyDeleteI say this because we have yet to here specifics such as engines size, or engine codes, mileage ect.

ReplyDeleteIt's a standard v6 no codes AND 155 k. Every thing else was as specific as I could get
