I have had the brake lines bled twice and cannot get rid of the spongy pedal associated with air in the brake lines.
I drive a 2002 Land Rover Discovery II. I have had the brake lines bled twice and cannot get rid of the spongy pedal associated with air in the brake lines. If the pedal is pumped one time the brakes return to normal. There are no visable signs of a leak. Can air be trapped elsewhere besides the lines going to the calipers? Any suggestions?

I get alot of complaints about this. Unless there has been some type of hydraulic work done like a caliper replaced there should not be any air in the system. What you described the above in normal unless the brake pedal is going to the floor.
